Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Qamaro (“the App”) on Android and iOS. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
Summary
Qamaro is designed to be private and local-first:
- No account required. You do not sign up or log in.
- No personal data collected. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email, phone number, or any other personal information.
- Data stays on your device. Your saved activity list is stored only on your device (in local app storage). We do not have access to it.
- No tracking or analytics. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking in the App.
- Works offline. The App works without an internet connection; no data is sent to our servers because we do not operate servers for the App.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, or other contact information
- Location data
- Usage or analytics data
- Device identifiers for tracking
- Any other personal or identifiable information
We do not use the App to:
- Track you across apps or websites
- Show personalized or third-party ads
- Share your data with third parties for marketing or analytics
Information stored on your device
The App may store the following only on your device (in local app storage):
- Saved activity IDs — which activity cards you have saved. This is used only to show your “Saved” list in the App. We do not have access to this data.
- Onboarding preferences — for example, that you have seen the first-time onboarding screen. This is used only to avoid showing the same screen again. We do not have access to this data.
This data is not transmitted to our servers or to third parties. We do not collect or process it.
Third-party services
The App may use standard system features (for example, to share content) that invoke other apps or the operating system. When you use “Share,” your device’s share sheet is used; we do not send shared content to our own servers. We do not integrate analytics, advertising, or social-login SDKs that collect personal data.
Children’s privacy
The App does not collect personal information. It does not target children under 13 in a way that requires parental consent under applicable law (e.g. COPPA). No personal data is collected from any user, including children. If you believe a child has provided any personal information through the App, please contact us and we will address it. In the current design, the App does not allow users to submit personal information to us.
Data security
Because we do not collect or store your data on our systems, there is no data held by us to secure. Data stored on your device is subject to your device’s security (e.g. lock screen, device encryption). You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at the same URL and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may notify you via an in-app notice or a store listing update where required by the platform. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Your rights and contact
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, or delete. Data stored only on your device can be removed by uninstalling the App or clearing the App’s data in your device settings.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or the App’s practices, please contact us at:
